Sorry for the wait!

Hi there guys, I apologize about the long wait. I have been busy trying to fix up the garden. Unfortunately I was so preoccupied in it - i forgot to keep you updated!

The picture above is an idea I drew up about a month ago. The circles in the top left corner are a young tree, about 6ft at the moment, i planted it seven or so years ago.

This is the improvements i have made: I have increased the chicken run size and fenced them off. The coop is actually inside this area and a lot smaller than the one i expected, so fits in snugly below the tree on the edge of the garden, the chickens are currently residing in it, and absolutely destroying that area of the garden - but i don't mind, i like that they have a space to make as much mess as they like, i always tidy it up a bit after they go to bed.

As you can see, the main part of the garden is black, this is just a sheet of black tarp, sometime soon, woodchips will be filling it in and it will look lovely! - fingers crossed.. The brown spots are just rocks holding it down, it's a hell of a windy hill this time of year! The grass on the other side is horrible, uncut thanks to overgrown bushes that I have now cut down. It's too wet to cut it anyways, but im not sure what to do with it? More wood chips? The grey triangle is stones, my washing line surrounds them, so dont want to move them otherwise my washing would get all woodchippy if they fell down.

Well that's the garden update, i will add some real photos soon, i just need to find my camera's SD card! It's so frustrating not having it and seeing the chickens do so many hilarious things when they potter about - thinking i'm not watching :P
